Nintendo Sound Files:
Want to know how to play music from classic Nintendo games on your computer? To do that you need to unerstand what is a .nsf? .nsf stands for a Nintendo Sound File, which are essentially music dumps from all of the sound on an NES cartridge.
However, because of how unique these file structures are, you need a player that can recognize them. To do this, you can use a plug-in for winamp, a stand alone program in Windows or try Audio Overlord for the Mac.
Winamp is available free for download at winamp.com
I’ve included the plug-in I currently use with winamp:
Festalon - Version 0.3.0

For Mac users there is Audio Overlord Version 2.0b3 - Click Here to download it
